Brotherly Love

Nolan was chilling on the couch and Quinn decided he had to be there with him. He climbed on up and miraculously didn't squish his brother in the process! We're working on the idea of not disturbing your brother when he's sleeping, just as you wouldn't want to be disturbed :). It's not really sinking in yet...

Flying High

We're in Alabama now for my sister's wedding next weekend. The boys did great flying! Here are some pictures from Wednesday's airplane adventure.

We made it at last!

I want to cry....

I thought Quinn should have a real hair cut for my sister's wedding. We leave this afternoon for Alabama so it needed to happen today. I took him to a great salon but unfortunately the hair stylist and I had a huge miscommunication. She apparently didn't understand the phrase "keep the length, just shape it better and trim the ends." Her first cut took off 4" and there was no going back. He looks so different- like a big boy. Sigh. I've very sad but know that his hair will grow back out before we know it. At least I hope so!!! The good news is that no one will mistake him for a girl in the South like last time!

Hovander

Last Monday we met some friends at Hovander Park after nap time. Quinn and his girlfriends had a great time playing on the toys, running in the grass and checking out animals. As you can see, Zoey's wagon was a big hit.

Things That Go

A few mornings ago it was quiet (uh oh) and I was prepared for the worst. I was pleasantly surprised to find Quinn sitting on the couch playing with a magnetic train set. He's getting very creative with his play and is excellent at entertaining himself.

Six Weeks

This is a pretty typical example of life with a toddler and newborn!



Another example of time going too fast- Nolan had his first tears yesterday. They weren't running down his face but his eyes were definitely wet. Now we REALLY know when he's upset.

5 weeks

The other day I was in the kitchen and it was too quiet. I asked Quinn what he was doing and he didn't answer so I walked into the living room and found him quickly eating a milk chocolate bar that Rich had stashed in his cabinet. Notice the crayon in his hand. He grabbed it when I found him and he told me he was just looking for some paper. Busted!
